Pathology Services, PC, located in North Platte, is a central laboratory testing and processing center for medical laboratory centers throughout western Nebraska. They offer ‘self-directed’, walk-in lab testing for common tests such as general health (Chem 18), Lipid profile, PSA and thyroid screenings. Processing arrangements already exist in laboratories within our 18-county area and therefore no doctor’s order is needed. Please refer to the following list to take advantage of this low-cost opportunity at your campus location. Please contact a Wellness committee member to request the Lab Testing brochure.

Once your tests are complete, results will be mailed directly to you. Your physician will be mailed a copy also if specified on the form. You are eligible to submit the costs of these tests to your insurance company, and they will be applied to your deductible the same as if they were doctor ordered. The college will reimburse WOW participants ½ of their laboratory costs (up to $20 per year) for laboratory testing expenses, with proper documentation being presented. Procedures for reimbursement will be outlined in the near future. Please refer to your doctor for interpretation of all results.
